  1. Either change it regularly, or don't change it at all. The word "Lifetime" just means the life of the car, which means a completely different thing to an automaker versus someone that drives their vehicles for a long time. IMO there is no such thing as a lifetime fluid. It's marketing BS, that's all. I would bet the farm that a transmission that has been regularly serviced will outlast one that has never been serviced.
