  1. Environmental policies run amok. They can't build vehicles of this size anymore without these overly complex hybrid and turbo systems. They're trying to push EV trucks and SUV's, but people don't want them. The automotive industry is a complete mess.

  3.  @KF...  It achieves this power with turbos and a complex hybrid system. A V8 produces all that power on it's own. People that use trucks and off road vehicles for their intended purpose, not just going to the grocery store, want longevity. Once Trump is back in office, we will see a comeback with the V8. You can get away with smaller engines in smaller vehicles, but something the size of a Sequoia needs a proper V8.
