  1. So many crap vehicles out there. My advice is do your research. Listen to what mechanics and real car people say, not online reviews from sources like Consumer Reports and the like. Those are not dependable reviews and are tainted because they receive a cut from these companies. Don't buy a vehicle just because it looks cool and has a bunch of stupid gadgets and electronic features. All that crap fails. Like others have said, generally, Honda and Toyota make great vehicles. There are other good vehicles from other automakers as well but do your research. Reliability is the most important feature. You'll realize that when your vehicle gets over 100,000 miles and it starts to fall apart right before your eyes. Most vehicles are fine for the first 100,000 miles, but there are very few that remain reliable at 200,000 and beyond.
