That could very well be legal in that state and he could have declined representation and spoke voluntarily. You all immediately think the police are trying to get over on him somehow when you have no idea what the circumstances are that led him to being questioned alone.

  39.  @georgejones3526  I will draw this line, everyone knows murder is wrong from a very early age. By the time you’re in high school, you really have no excuse. All I’m saying is that there are some circumstances where interrogating a minor happens and is legal. I don’t have a law degree so I can’t cite specific laws that allow that, but it does happen legally. Everyone just jumps to the conclusion that somehow his rights are being violated here when you have no idea what the laws are in that particular state. Maybe they are, maybe they aren’t, but the cop is just doing his job. I don’t see him trying to manipulate him, he’s just asking him questions.
