  2. My Dad bought an '04 Silverado new and he's still driving it today. Snowbirds from MN to AZ every winter with it. Still very dependable.

  3. It's to push people into buying new models, has nothing to do with ease of repair. It will give someone with a vehicle with 150k miles a little motivation to think about that new '25 model with the fancy this and that, and then finance them for 96 months.
