  4. I've done it many times. Now I don't even go. Too many times I've walked into a place, got a feel for it and said nope, and walked out. Those are called street smarts and instincts. They tend to keep you alive. They especially come in handy at gas stations, another favorite amongst the scholarly folk.

  5. Fun fact, the Mall of America is now installing Shotspotter technology. That tells you everything you need to know about that mall. If you're ever in MN, I'd skip that one. Actually, just skip MN altogether, it sucks here. Unless you're up north on a lake or something.

  8. I know right? I've been watching tv, and they're usually managing retirement accounts, in the lab doing experiments, or raising families in upscale neighborhoods.

  9. We used to go to the mall all the time as teenagers. Played the arcade, hung out in the food court. Never a problem. Normal teenager stuff. I feel bad that kids today don't get to have that experience.
