Not a dispatcher, but I'm a first responder. They do already have the necessary people enroute. They're trying to gather information real time to update the responders. That info pops up on our laptops in our vehicles and is constantly being updated. It is helpful to know any information they can relay to us, and to know if anything changes. I assure you, they're not ignoring the victim.

This had more to do with the guy being willing to talk without animosity. Most people you see are combative and lie about everything from the get go.

@jjjj-cy3vz Islanders are very racist to anyone that isn't an islander. Not saying they're all like that, but spend enough time in Hawaii in the military and you'll find out. They fuck with everyone. They don't like black people as much as they don't like white people.

Some people legitimately think they're smarter than everyone and can talk themselves out of anything. They can't stop talking. Most rational people don't beat people with baseball bats, so most of the people in these types of situations aren't exactly playing with a full deck to begin with.
