  1. They're not realistically repairable. Almost nobody works on them. Yeah there might be some mechanic on youtube that claims he can fix them, but good luck finding a local mechanic that has any idea how to fix one.

  2. Now talk about reliability and ease of repair. That is what impacts 90% of car buyers, not how great it works the first couple years after purchase. Give me a MT any day over this. I will take the drawbacks, because when you're looking for a CVT replacement (because nobody can work on them in the real world), I'll still be driving my MT down the road.
