  1. WWII in general needs to be talked about because it shaped the world into what we have now. Also, that war was far worse than most people even realize. When you really dig deep, it’s hard to imagine that many people committing atrocious, evil acts. Read about Japan, one could argue they were even more sadistic than the Nazis. And the Allies weren’t 100% innocent either. It’s hard to imagine how recent it was too. Both of my Grandfathers fought in it, I never knew them because of what the war did to them. They were broken people. My parents didn’t even really know them either. Lots of stories like that.

  2.  @geestee9377  It made sense to enough people to attempt it. They were trying to dominate Europe, and they felt the Jews were an obstacle, just like Poles, the disabled, and others. If you put yourself in their heads and pretend you believe their ideology it makes perfect sense. I don’t believe most Germans really knew though. I don’t even think most German soldiers knew the extent.

  3. Do what works for you. Some people are good at deadlifts, some people get injured. Important thing is to just lift. I don't do cleans because of joint issues in my elbows and hands from sports injuries, but I do deadlift, and I've never been injured. I just don't go nuts and lift more than I should and always use proper form.

  4.  @kanairsforte23  It's pretty sadistic. I don't think most people realize what went down. There was a reason the A-bomb was used against them. I'm of the opinion it was necessary, and saved lives in the end, and I'll stand by that opinion.

The Japanese were willing to go much farther than any other nation. The ground war would have never ended. Saying the bomb had nothing to do with it is crazy. Any leader would be shitting bricks if an enemy had a weapon that destructive that nobody else had.

  6.  @InfiniteA1E  I had the opportunity to talk to a woman who was a teenager in Germany and she opened my eyes to what the Russians did, specifically the Mongolian soldiers that were in their army, which I never knew before. Apparently they were worse than the Russian soldiers. The civilian population was brutalized.

I imagine its gotten so expensive to live in California, that he thinks he has to to maintain his family's lifestyle there. And whats going on now with the SJW movements has gotten really scary. They will destroy you, and its not even they, the corporations have gotten to the point where they just axe you if anything remotely controversial comes out about you. No jury, no trial, you're done.   9. You have to understand that these guys know the risks that come with bodybuilding and they have accepted it. Some are able to trim down when they're done and get healthy, others die young. You have to respect their work ethic and absolute dedication to the sport. Steroids don't make you huge by the way, they remove a physiological barrier so you can train beyond what is normal. In other words, you can lift like an average joe and take roids, but guess what, you're just going to look like an average joe. That's not even how steroids work.

You're kidding yourself if you think LSD and shrooms somehow unlock something in you that makes you better at something or more insightful, or whatever. You're altering the way your mind is supposed to be when you take any drug, and because it is pleasurable, you lie to yourself and tell yourself that its good. I've tripped before, and its all an illusion. You deal with the consequences the next day and for me it just made me hate them. People don't accomplish anything sitting around tripping all day. Most people that accomplish great things, do so with a clear mind, which psychadelics definitely don't give you.

  17. A lot of people don’t realize how simple working out can be. They make excuses about the lockdown but you know what, you can get an awesome workout with just your body and maybe a pull-up bar. Probably a better workout than using nautilus machines. Push-ups, pull-ups, squats, squat jumps, burpees, lunges and sit-ups. With variations of those, you work your whole body.

  18. Diet people annoy me with how cultish they are. Keto this, carnivore that, vegan this. Just be thankful you have food to eat and shut up about it. If you eat real food in the proper amount, you’re fine. You’re not unlocking some amazing discovery by going keto or fasting. Even worse is having to listen to them preach about it.

I think more people would have died had we continued the war, and also, we didn’t want Russia controlling Japan either, so it served two purposes. Not saying it was a good thing, it was horrific, and I wish humans had never built it. Now the world is at a permanent standstill and precipice of a war that cannot be won. All it takes is one lunatic and then we’re all screwed.

If you want to do drugs as an adult, and you don't endanger anyone else, it's your life and you should be able to make those choices, but Joe doesn't seem to understand that some people can't do that, and he doesn't seem like he really understands how important Steve O's sobriety is to him. This is a guy whose life literally depends on his sobriety, and this dummy goes off on a 10 minute rant about how wonderful drugs are. Seriously dude? I'm actually very impressed with Steve O's transformation into who he is today. He seems like he's genuinely happy with where he is in his life, and none of that could be possible with drugs and alcohol in his life.

  21. Why do people get so insane about diet stuff. It's like it's their whole identity or something and if someone has a different opinion they get hostile and aggressive almost immediately. Notice this most with vegans and keto people btw. Who gives AF, let people do what they want to do, it's their body. I don't even think we know what the ideal diet is, we just try and get it as close as possible. So much pseudoscience involved with these kinds of people.

  22. All steroids do is unlock the potential to train more than would normally be physiologically possible. They are not magic potions that grow your muscles. They basically remove a physical barrier that we all have, and it is up to you how far beyond that barrier you want to take it. No, they're not healthy, but don't think for a second these guys took shortcuts, they work harder and go farther than 99.9% of people would ever go.

Trump has done nothing but good things since he's been in office, things that anybody with a brain has to admit is good for this country. He addressed the border in a meaningful way, he's allowing business to thrive, he's dealing with trade and trying to undo what is really screwing American workers, which is China, which was created by corrupt politicians (Biden, Kerry, etc. etc.), and now with the pandemic, he is doing a fantastic job as a leader. He is talking to the nation every single day and is reacting in the right ways. He is taking the advice of all the experts around him and is acting in meaningful ways, but that doesn't matter because the left in this country will attack him no matter what he does. Truly insane times we live in. People are more interested in fitting in than voting for what is good for their nation.

  42. Neither one of them are great. Comparing the two in any way doesn't bolster people's argument IMO. Saying weed is a tool for creativity is the weed telling your brain it's being creative. I've been around a lot of people that smoked, and smoked myself, and I don't find people any more creative. I think it changes your personality, and not in a good way. You don't think or say these profound things, you just think you do. Just like I predicted, it starts with weed, then eventually all drugs will be legal, like in Oregon. Let's see how that works out when you can't take your kids to the park because people are smoking meth and acting erratically. When you legalize it, you're saying it's acceptable behavior, and people are going to be open about it. More so than if it was an illegal activity.

There is still a huge black market for weed in legalized states, and there is still violence attached to it. Poor people aren’t buying gourmet weed at dispensaries. The solution has to come from Mexico, they need to figure it out on their own. Why do things always fall on the US? People buy drugs everywhere, we aren’t the only consumers in the world.
