  13. Let’s put the US women’s soccer program into perspective. Half the world still doesn’t allow women to go out of the house unaccompanied or vote, much less play soccer. They had a leg up on the competition from the start. Furthermore, I don’t understand why a non professional team would get paid, other than room and board, travel and food.
