I stopped buying Microsoft Office products when they switched to a subscription-based product. I would never in a million years buy a vehicle that came with "subscriptions". Screw you.

Best car I ever owned was my Knight Rider Big Wheel. Old girl never failed me. Fought a lot of crime in that thing.
22
Screw Ford.
4
His tires are almost bald lol. What a cheapskate.

Who's ready for TRIPLE DENIM? You can't handle triple denim.
2
The owner of the truck.
2
@santaclause2875 That's called seasoning.
2
Replace the Perditzman valve and recalibrate the fusion actuators.
2
Restore and protect?
2
I've read that you can replace the oil pump with a Hellcat oil pump and that helps. It's an issue of oil volume, and apparently the Hellcat oil pump delivers higher volume, and bolts right on to a Hemi.
2
Never use oil additives. Fuel additives are ok if you want to try cleaning your injectors.
2
@infdox9051 Short trips are not great for a car.
2
Fun and zippy and Toyota don't really go together.
2
@GFWoodchuck Tires aren't something to skimp on, it's a safety item. It's actually THE safety item on your car as it's what contacts the road. Don't be a cheapskate when it comes to tires. Those tires are beyond worn and need to be replaced. Don't forget the age as well. I wouldn't take a tire beyond 7 or 8 years, even if it had good tread.
2
@GFWoodchuck You talking about re-treads? I don't think that's even a thing anymore for passenger vehicles, and I wouldn't trust them, no. I'll bet you're one of those people that drives unsafe vehicles because it saves you money, but everyone else on the road be damned.
2
@GFWoodchuck Slicks are for the racetrack bubba.
2
What are you thinking putting these on your car? You know those are going to be horrible don't you? Of course you do. I don't get it.

Death trap.
1
@PaulMilenkovic Yeah, the old trope that it's great to find a little old lady's car in good condition is wrong. You actually don't want a car like that.
1
I drove a stick for many years, but if you're in rush hour traffic 5 days a week, shifting does get kind of old after a while. I don't need to drive that many days a week anymore and would love to get another car with a stick, but there is a reason most people here don't want them anymore.
1
Older diesels yes, but not modern ones. If it has a high-idle switch, use it.
1
Trump needs to get rid of DPF system requirements.
1
There's no maintenance interval on a timing chain, so how would someone even check it? Yeah they can go bad, but the average person isn't checking their timing chain. Best you can do is make sure you're keeping up on oil changes.
1
Nobody cares
1
You should probably address that nail in the tire while you're at it lol
1
@Nick41622 Well you're stupid. That's not a flex.
1
Or even easier, change your own oil.
1
Scotty, my Hemi calls for 89 octane, it is recommended in the owners manual, although you can use 87. So yes, there is a reason for mid-grade.
1
@thomaskim5008 What's wrong with things built in the USA?
1
It's one of the things I like about my Ram. You can get a lot of information without a scan tool. Everyone should know their fluid temps and pressures.
1
This issue with the low-mileage old Lexus, is how do we know how it was driven (or stored) over all those years. If Grandma was just driving to church and home for 17 years, that's not great.
1
@classicG342 Shithole city
1
Unfortunately they've made vehicles unnecessarily complicated due to CAFE. Any modern vehicle has the potential for all these failures.
1
Better off buying a used anything than a KIA.
1
Keep dreaming.

Yes "kids" are stealing them. "Teens", "youths", "joggers".
