  2.  @GFWoodchuck  Tires aren't something to skimp on, it's a safety item. It's actually THE safety item on your car as it's what contacts the road. Don't be a cheapskate when it comes to tires. Those tires are beyond worn and need to be replaced. Don't forget the age as well. I wouldn't take a tire beyond 7 or 8 years, even if it had good tread.
