  2. I drove a stick for many years, but if you're in rush hour traffic 5 days a week, shifting does get kind of old after a while. I don't need to drive that many days a week anymore and would love to get another car with a stick, but there is a reason most people here don't want them anymore.

  3. There's no maintenance interval on a timing chain, so how would someone even check it? Yeah they can go bad, but the average person isn't checking their timing chain. Best you can do is make sure you're keeping up on oil changes.
