He ran not because he was scared that they would kill him, he ran because he knew that if he fought them, the battle would never end because they're too agile for him to bite, but they cannot bite through his incredibly tough and impenetrable hide, he ran because the battle would be endless since neither can kill the other so it would be a waste of time.

  20. They're not exactly the only ones. You know about the sable antelope? Those things do NOT go down without a fight. Heck, they rarely ever run away to begin with and they usually go straight on the offensive as soon as they see a carnivore. Lions have been stabbed to death by the horns of sables. Tho for some reason sables are pretty underrated and there's not many videos of them being badass out there.

  28.  Animal fights  Uh, even adult leopards are wary of hyenas, sure, a leopard could kill a hyena but a hyena could also kill a leopard. They're roughly the same size.

  33. Those are my thoughts exactly. I like lions and all, but they're a little too obsessed with killing, even for a predator. Cheetahs, wild dogs and even hyenas are way more chill. For instance I've seen hyenas drinking peacefully at the watering hole next to their usual prey, and wild dogs and hyenas usually have scuffles but I've also seen them more or less socializing to a degree. And there's a solitary wild dog who lost her pack and then she adopted hyenas and jackals. Lions just kill everything that moves. XD

  34. It's because the title is misleading and implies that these lions are stronger than a herd of elephants when, as shown in the video, ONE elephant can scare the entire pride. If the elephants decided to attack the pride would be no more.

  35. To be fair, first the leopard was in a ditch behind the grass, and then it was behind a tree, and that combined with the leopard's camouflage and stealthiness meant that the springbok couldn't see it, plus the leopard only moved when he lowered his head to graze.

  40. If hyenas are villains, then so are lions, elephants, seals, pigs, frogs, hamsters, ducks, jellyfish, starfish and coral. My point is, no animal is evil. They simply want to survive. If ya'll still think one type of animal is evil, then by that logic all animals are, because all animals do the same thing: try to survive this harsh, cruel world.

  46. A single hyena would destroy a single dog, and I'm sure that a single hyena would even destroy two or three dogs, but a pack of seven, ten or more dogs vs. one hyena would obviously end with the hyena dead.
