Because some dingdong isn't watching them so they escaped. That or they were let out on purpose to go eat and drink. Yeah, good idea. Letting out your cattle in the land of the baddest and deadliest predators (and hippos) out there.
1
Weird that hyenas and dogs aren't related at all, but they sorta get along at best or they're just highly competitive rivals at worst, but meanwhile lions despise their literal cousins like leopards, cheetahs and servals and they go out of their way to kill them on sight.
1
Pumbaa ate bugs in The Lion King, and bugs are technically meat, this shouldn't suprise people. Warthogs and other pigs are omnivores and they'll eat anything.
1
Yeah. Pfft, lions? What are those? XD
1
@Mad_Martigen Yup. They're not the kings of the jungle. They don't even live in jungles but elephants can. XD
1
🦎: "This Varanus niloticus won't settle for the dregs! I'll borrow! I'll beg! I'll even kiss you for my dear beloved dooooooose! Of EGGS!" 🎶
1
If only natural selection also gave them spikes lining their neck to prevent lions from biting them once they're down, THEN giraffes would be invincible.
1
Baboons chase after cheetahs.
1
It's like buffalos forget they even have them in the first place.
1
I doubt that wild dogs see humans as prey, heck, grey wolves don't see humans as prey either.
1
Hahahahaha! 🤣
1
Geez, someone give those impalas a lozenge or an inhaler or something. XD
1
They're not cowards, they're built for speed, not fighting. If they get even a tiny injury, they may never be able to hunt cuz their prey will escape and they'll starve to death, so they don't fight things that can fight back. Again, they're not cowards, they're just not suicidal either.
1
@user-Void-Star Exactly, that's what I meant. I said that they technically CAN try to fight a lion, but they WON'T do it because they're not stupid or suicidal.
1
Wild dogs are endangered and they make cute noises, shame on ya.
1
@leventa.1052 They're a little too programmed to kill, if you ask me, even by predator standards.
1
Did those guys just snitch the cub's hiding spot to the hyenas?
1
Domestic cows unsupervised in the middle of the African savannah, and one gets preyed upon by a hippo... Yup, this happens only at Kruger.
1
@kingofthebeast4024 Sorry, I wasn't aware. I just thought they up and released those cows without a care.
1
It's like lions are commies that think they're the only predators that deserve to exist so they kill other predators on sight for simply existing!
1
@Latestsightings She could have just grabbed him and pulled him out, but sadly only elephants were blessed with something remotely resembling an arm.
1
No, Skwovet vs Silicobra!
1
Oh no, here we go again.
1
Used to?
1
Well, well, well...... XD
1
@Tonetare I thought hyenas had the strongest bite force of all modern mammals.
1
But they're social reptiles that live happily in groups... oh right, even animals that live in groups will fight or even kill members of the group that step out of line and do something stupid.
1
paulo Almeida What?
1
You see, after a kill, the cheetahs tend to be exhausted. Hell, by simply running fast they're putting their life in danger. They only run fast for short bursts, cuz they get very tired and overheat easily, they run any longer than their limit and their heart explodes. So when they kill something, they tend to rest for a while because they're exhausted, and other predators know this. The cheetahs also know this, so sometimes they do stuff themselves as much as they can, but other times they're just too tired.
1
@thomasneal9291 Rangers removing rhino horns to protect them is one thing, cuz the horns are just compressed hair and they grow back anyway, so removing them causes little to no discomfort to the rhino, but do rangers really remove elephant tusks? Those are teeth! Wouldn't removing them cause a lot of blood to come out, causing nasty infections and pain to the elephant?
1
But, they're cute.
1
I don't know, but I'm still suprised that the croc succeeded in this endeavor unscathed. Even if the baby was already dead, the mother hippo would probably still ferociously defend the calf's body.
1
A zebra did WHAT!? Edit: Ok I saw that video and the wildebeest survived that hit. Also I think the wildebeest was just being dramatic cuz the zebra just lightly tapped it.
1
@groenrizla2513 How? A tiger can carry a leopard in its mouth!
1
@shotmanz24th19 Exactly so how can a leopard kill one unless it's young? Not happening. 😅
1
He can't save the deer because there was no deer, that was an antelope.
1
Not every hunt ends with blood and gore. Many hunts are unsuccessful. It is nature's way.
1
The lion would have been the one to not stand a chance if this leopard were Sabor from Tarzan.
1
Talking about this theme like that is not cool.
1
Those are leopards. Cheetahs would never dare to take down an adult warthog. Hell, even leopards find it hard.
1
It didn't go down without a fight or without a bite.
1
It's a compilation of the best moments of 2019.
1
@joweydelanota5558 Uh, ok...
1
That's not suprising, buffalos are very dangerous.
1
Reticulated pythons don't live in Africa.
1
There's no gore in this vid, all the damage is internal.
1
Oh so humans can kill animals for no apparent reason all they want, but if an animal kills a human it has to be killed itself? What is this blatant hypocrisy?
1
It must run in the family.
1
@Latestsightings Poor thing. I sometimes feel bad for smaller predators with no chance of defending themselves being tortured by lions. It's satisfying when lions are beaten senseless by elephants because now the lions are the ones running in fear of their lives for a change.
1
Yes, one bite and the lion's bones would be bloody silly putty.
