  2. The army developed the DUKW “ a vehicle which really should still be in production’ and the Gigantic LARC LX amphibian… As you warned us Sal … the Gaza mission definitely used the wrong system .. has the Army has lost it’s amphibious capability..?

  4.  @WALTERBROADDUS  I disagree they were very safe in war .. but not as a shoddy tourist boat ride , with the bilge pumps taken out , maintenance deferred , & idiot drivers … if you check out the development history it was involved in a high profile sea rescue that sold the idea to the Army , it saved many amphibious operations , Sicily, Salerno ,
