I was on the USS Forrestal for 11 months and we refueled about every 3 days and also fueled our escorts.. underway refueling is very serious business and we drilled emergency breakaway every time .. and once we actually had an emergency.. this is all done with specialized ships and very well trained crews .. it’s really not for amateurs

  4.  @tedmoss  Arctic oil spills are especially nasty and all that oil in old ships with cut rate crews … I have been to the sea of Murmansk… the sea states are bizarre there .. I wouldn’t insure anything there
