  1. I grew up white and upper middle class, but our neighborhood was "hood adjacent". I ventured there a few times and it taught me a LOT. Un my early 20s I befriended some of these people and I can tell you they treated me MUCH DIFFERENTLY on their turf than they did on my turf. Then I decided I needed better friends. It was amazing, the difference in mentality when they were around people from the hood. Like 2 totally different people. Heartbreaking actually.

  2. Kind of disagree. This country IS full of angry white men. We're tired of being shyte on and we're going to fire off strongly worded emails and facebook posts until they stop!
