  2.  @music.1.06  Good theory but in practice it never work. There are stronger forces other than votes that drives politics. Most empires of the past collapsed not because enemy action but internal turmoil and incompetent financing. Look to America's military spending, decaying society (drugs and homeless people everywhere) and infrastructure, balooning deficit and the belief that all problems can be solved with military action and bombs that regularly end like Afghanistan. The collapse of an empire is a process that may take years and American collapse as hegemonic empire is well under way and there is no president or amount of bombs that can reverse its course!
