  11. Russia did not want Ukraine's territory, Russia already have enough and wanted MINSK. When Russia understood diplomacy not possible and all the west wanted was NATO in Ukraine Moscow was forced into creating a buffer zone to protect its borders. Russia was forced into a war they did not want!
