@xcastille6161 In 2008 when NATO's meeting in Bucarest said Ukraine and Georgia would join NATO Ukraine was neutral in their constitution and none of the two have asked this "favor" from NATO. The idea to join NATO did not come from neither Georgia or Ukraine but from American geopolitical madness and urge to encircle Russia with military forces, neutralize Russia's naval base in Crimea established in 1776 and transform the Black sea into a NATO's lake. If not for Putin's decision making that would have been the end story for the Russian nation. Vladimir Putin is way more competent and determined than the entire western political establishment, COMBINED, and the false information you provide is nothing but a result of the fact you are only allowed access to Washington's pre aprooved news as Russian media has been banned from the west as Washington's determination.

@xcastille6161 The Budapest memorandum was signed in a time Ukraine was neutral and posed no threat to the Russian state. That changed when in 2014 a coup incited and sponsored by Washington unconstitutional put in power people commited to change the constitution and join NATO that would bring military infrastructures to ukraine including missiles that would take minutes to reach the Kremlin. As unacceptable to Russia as Soviet missiles in Cuba was unacceptable to americans!
