Nice to find the origins of the bright idea and technology that made the F35 possible... And no one thanks the Russians for that, on the contrary, Russians got an American proxy war as a sign of "friendship"!

@kitchenersown By the way, the stealth science was also developed by a Russian scientist and "conveniently" grabbed by Americans! So, yes, that applies to all stealth aircrafts Americans developed since!

@tallll70 Copy of the concept of the bright Russian idea is as obvious as it can get! Before the YAK141 the only idea of VTOL was the Harier but American saw a superior design in the YAK141 and thus chose to copied it! As simple and obvious as that!
