@Mindpron aluminum is the one you should NEVER use, particularly w acidic food as it goes into the tomato sauce and has no place in the body. Copper actually has metabolic purpose and your body can deal w it, but maybe too much is bad too. But no amt of aluminum is good. And NECER use baking powder w aluminum salt

@alexandrac6177 yeah, there is this trick, if you get your ss pan just the right temp it is non stick. A water drop has to like ball up, or something

@KellyS_77 you dont have to clean all the oil out the pan and re-season every time. Wash w little to no soap and use hear to dry/sanitize

@Ben-Perlin carbon steel is as nonstick as cast iron? But maybe a good deal lighter?

We use cast iron, or those old glass pyrex pots. Stainless made in china is sus.
