  8.  @dorbie  that is the legal structure of the trust, how it was funded. They cant turn it into an open fund (aka ETF) w/o an approval from SEC.

  9. Her thesis is sound and viable w +5yr time horizon, but her flaw is not valuing cash as a position to take in a bear market. She should be open ro rotating to partial cash, or other hedging strategies, during macro downturns so she can scoop up positions in good disrupters at distressed valuations rather than just riding into the ground.

  10. Would point out that most exposure to gbtc is by retirement privileged accts, and most of these cannot really take self custody of btc w/o irs considering it an early withdrawal. Would def be preferable to grayscale dumping lots of btc on the market all at once to liquidate to settle in cash, though 😮
