  1. ​ @wilcunningham5787  You need to look up those crash statistics for those early airplane flights, champ. Between 1930 and 1937 there were at least 45 fatal plane crashes where ALL of the passengers and crew DIED. Douglas DC3 held a passenger compliment of 28 passengers and a crew of 4. It didn't get any better during the 1950's thru the 1960's. There were AT LEAST 6 or more crashes a year when all on board died. LOTS of people died when the aviation industry was young.
