What a ignorant, dimwitted, poser, of a cigar smoker.
You NEVER use a butane lighter to light your cigar.
The flame is WAAAY to hot at 2600 degrees.
You could scorch the foot of the cigar and it just destroys the taste of a good cigar, if you use a butane lighter.
To do it properly, you use a wooden, strike anywhere, match, which burns at approximately 700 degrees.
Use a wooden match.
The cigar experience will be better, taste better and the fine, single malt scotch, will taste better.
You will thank me.
