  4. At 68, then you remember those familys, pre birth controll era, when it was normal for familys to be numbered in the double digits. 6, 8, 10 or more, children in the familys were the norm. Fathers, remarried with 2 or more times, because the women died in child birth.. My 90 year old mother, (with 8 children that lived and 2 that did not make it past 3, 10 total) remembers those years well. She was horrified when Roe was overturned. She said the dark ages for women are returning and thank god she is past child bearing age.

  7. A lesbian can be raped or be sexually assaulted and get pregnant from the rape or assault, just like a straight woman can. So abortion is a relevant issue to the gay community.
