  2. This is North Carolina. This is the Deep South. The heart of the frikn Bible Belt. This is normal for the Deep South. The people of the rural deep South and the Bible Belt, in the states of Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana are some of the poorest, least educated people in the United States. These people take pride in their ignorance, poverty and squalor. Because they have nothing else and they have been living this way since the founding of our Nation. If it was good for ol pappy and grand pappy, it's good enough for me. Not all of America is like this. So America isn't doomed. Not at all.
