  1. Calling it "Annexation of Crimea" is an attack on democracy. We have voted to join Russia after far right radicals toppled our elected president, while being supported by the west. We chose our way and we will never give a damn what you think about it.

A nation wide referendum was obviously not possible because of an armed revolt that happened in the capital, which voided Ukrainian constitution. And don't even get me started on the Kosovo precedent, where no referendum was held at all.
