  22. The 'police force'is career based like any other institution i Britain so 'sitting in front of a sreen 'is seen as a promotianal step up.Walking the beat is the bottom rung of the ladder. I would suggest though that a police car stationed in a strategic position just might have the right effect and probably more cost effective.
