  1. I was teenager in 1957 . On reflection i now see the benefit of a special day of family togetherness I experienced at that time.A couple of years later I was old enough to meet up with friends for a pint before dinner and possbly meet up in the evening.In 1957 I would have been singing in a church choir Sunday morning Happy days!
