  4.  @bobbyunavailable  I cancelled my licence two years ago after completing two free years (They reinstated the licence fee for those over 76) Im sure rating numbers apply to the BBC as much as any media company.Thats the only way they can justify a 'licence fee'

  5.  @bobbyunavailable  I agree with one 1 caveat.The government is becoming more under pressure from the 'tax payer' to abolish the licence fee..It could become a 'vote' winner at some time in the future.
