@andyjarman4958 Cant disagree with most of what you say.Unfortunately the old two party system that 'worked'50 years ago is no longer relevent when we have two establishment parties fighting over the same ground.Differing only at 'election time'.This is no longer acceprable.Both parries have given up on their old fashioned core values and replaced them with whatever gimmick is popular at the time.This is failing the country and if we are to make a success of Brexit it ca not continue.The old time and tested values still apply and seem to be needed now more than ever.I believe that the Labour party in particular has lost its way and has become irrelevant.Blair did the most damage to that party but Cameron was equally to blame for what he did to the tory party.I personally have lost interest in both these parties as I do not see them as being particularly what the country needs right now.Getting rid of them is another matter!

@andyjarman4958 Theres no danger of that happening.What the country needs is a real conservative party to form the opposition to this leftwing government.There are hundreds of people willing to speak up just as Anne is doing here but they dont get heard.Parties already formed to replace these two existing 'establishment' parties which are virtually two cheeks of the same backside.

Anne assumes there is no other party waiting in the wings to fill any void left by the demise of the Labour party.I can think of at least two that could replace Labour.Perhaps a real conservative party could replace them! We have at present two left of centre parties vieing to 'outleft' each other.
