We as a nation gave been misled for decades.Our comparitive success has bred a mentality that somehow we no longer need to 'work' hard for a living.Weve been conned by this two party duopoly into believing that by changing government every ten years or so we can ' extract'from them a little more of the slice of cake to keep us happy a little longer.They of course are complicit in this charade so everyone is happy( for a while) The media plays the greatest part in this charade and keeps the whole 'show' on the road.Lack of longterm planning is to blame for the dire situation we find ourselves but our political system doesnt allow for it.
