I noticed a massive difference in the sky above the South coast within amatter of days into the absence of jet trails.After a week or two our skies were indeed 'bluer'and with the reduction in road traffic our air became noticeably 'fresher'.The bird life in our gardens increased noticeably too.Perhaps the solution is indeed in our own hands.WE can choose to reduce our carbon footprint by seeking alternative air/road journeys /holidays etc..This period of lockdown has brought home to me just how quickly the environment improved.
