The lack of the teaching of our history is parrly to blame.Our 'history 'is not taught as it was to my generation being raised as I was after the 2nd war and into the 1950s.There was no shame attached to it unlike today where we are almost expected to appologise for it.The 1960s were the years that altered this and our history has now been 'intellectualised' out of any meaningfull part of life today.The British have been badly led over the past 60 years but must accept a lot of blame for allowing it.Its too late now.Trying to recoup this massive segment in the lives of our young could be done under the right kind of leadership but where is that leadership to come from.The 'left' in this country has destroyed all that was good in this country by their own misguided meddling.Our two party system owes a lot for this state of affairs.
