You could have written: "African countries should strive to develop cooperation and reject foreign influence/oppression", etc. Mentioning "the West" as oppressors make it sound like Russia, China, other powerful economies are somehow friendly. And they are not. ALL foreign imperialism in Africa is there for the same reason: exploitation. And you can't be that naive, to think that Russia or China will offer some more humane future. Africa must be independent, not be pulled into some crap proxy war.

I feel sorry for Nigerians, etc., when their country is raped by corrupt leaders and international companies. We need more nuclear power, and locally produced power, so that countries don't need to be dependent on oppressive states.
