Putin is good for us Scandinavians. Got us both Finland and Sweden into NATO. And he's messing up Russia pretty good, too.

@gullyside01 Turkey has, and will, allowed it. (But it doesn't matter that much anyway now, since USA and UK, Scandinavia have given protection guarantees - USA is all you need)

@gullyside01 They have given them the green light to apply and be CONSIDERED for membership. And while that process is going on, USA++ have given them protection guarantees. That's good enough. The pressure Turkey is making is no problem, if they make demands, OK, they are also NATO. This will make Turkey stronger, and Swe/Fin. members.

@gullyside01 Why should the US put boots on the ground? US is not threatened by Russia. The US goal is to bleed Russia dry. US has money to go on like this forever, Russia has not - not enough volunteers and not enough money.

@gullyside01 Russia has half the population of USA. Russia's population is only involved if there's a declaration of war. But this is a Special Military Operation, hence only volunteers fight. (read the news, dude).

@gullyside01 Man, just read the news. I'm in Europe. Yes, electricity is going to be expensive this winter, true. Living standards are still endlessly higher than in Russia, and future looks good.
