Trump wasn't really making a good point, though. He's not saying "don't do a genocide", he's saying "don't be seen doing a genocide."

@aalvarez2914 No, the truth is that Trump got on his knees for North Korea. It's not that no previous President "dared" to go to North Korea, it's that no other President was stupid enough to validate the North Korean dictator that way. And North Korea never did stop launching missiles over Japan. Nor did they stop nuclear testing like Trump claimed they had agreed to do. And Trump was absolutely not a "targeted strike response" guy. He was an "indiscriminate murder" kind of guy. He did more drone strikes than Bush and Obama combined. He removed even the barest pretense of trying to avoid collateral damage in the strikes, because he wanted to maximize civilian death tolls.
