@magivkmeister6166 Ethnic Russians in Crimea are colonizers, not native Crimeans. Crimea ended up with a Russian majority because Stalin genocided the native Tatars and sent in Russians to replace them. The Soviet Union liked to send large Russian populations into all of the non-Russian republics, so as to make it harder for those republics to ever become viable independent states. (Along with drawing the republics' borders so that ethnic groups were spread into other republics, creating border disputes that only central control from Moscow could resolve. The results of this are seen in the ongoing Azerbaijan-American conflict.)

It wasn't the EU that did that, it was the USA. (And as an America, I say rightly so.) And the EU is imposing sanctions on Kosovo, not on Serbia.

Then why have the majority population there always been Albanians?
1
That's why the EU keeps sanctioning Kosovo.

@elpresidente2145 The Israel-Palestine conflict began over a generation before Hamas even existed. You are correct that Israel gets way too much support from the West, though.

@magivkmeister6166 If the EU and NATO actually wanted to walk all of Serbia, there'd be nothing Serbia could do to stop them. Just be thankful that the EU and NATO aren't like Russia.

Turkey is an EU candidate in name only. Honestly, it's pretty silly how they still pretend there's any prospect of membership, instead of just admitting to Turkey that it's never going to happen.

Rather, it assumes that the EU's foreign policy should be based on the EU's own interests rather than those of Serbia. And questions whether appeasement of the Vučić regime is actually in the EU's interest.
