  1. Moldovans are Romanian speakers because Moldovans are Romanians. The Republic of Moldova is actually the eastern half of historical Moldavia, with the western half still being part of Romania. The eastern half was stolen by the Soviet Union in 1940.

  8.  @mariuspuiu9555  It's not a loophole, it's simply how it works. There is no provision for a country that's already a NATO member to have their membership "put on hold". If such a provision existed, it would've already been used to suspend or outright revoke Hungary's membership. If a NATO member gains new territory, it's still the same country and thus still a NATO member. We already have the precedent for this in German reunification. The same would apply for Romanian reunification. Romania would still be Romania, and thus still a NATO member.

  10.  @gerihuginn2143  Russia has no capacity to invade right now, because they're too busy trying to conquer Ukraine. And Russia's current military presence in Transnistria amounts to 1500 troops. Not exactly formidable.
