user-ii2lm6kg2g Just because China claims something doesn't make it true. Tibet wasn't even part of China until China conquered it in 1951.

user-ii2lm6kg2g Tibet was a vassal state to the Qing dynasty, but was not part of the Republic of China. And thus was not "inherited" by the People's Republic of China. Hence the PRC needing to invade Tibet to annex it.

user-ii2lm6kg2g No, Tibet was not "always" part of China. Tibet was a vassal state to the Qing, but fully independent after the Republic of China was established in 1912. Also, it's cute how you recognize every dynasty from Xia onward as being "China", but pretend that none of the historical Indian empires were "India". But I suppose if not for double standards, you'd have no standards at all.

@Srbenda126 Is it actually a "reasonable compromise" for India to let China keep what they stole, and in return...China merely promises not to steal any more of India's land?

@LandGrabbingIndia India is their country's name in English. The native name for India is Bharat. It's no different from how English-speakers refer to China instead the native names of Zhongguo or Zhonghua.

@LandGrabbingIndia China doesn't have much place to complain about distoring history.
