  2. The United States didn't actually do this. But should have. Unfortunately, Merrick Garland was a coward who slow-walked all of the federal prosecutions of Trump and allowed him to run out the clock. Trump should have already been in prison as early as late 2021.

  17.  @ivyneng  It was Duterte who withdrew the Philippines from the ICC after they indicted him. That doesn't cancel his indictment, or remove their jurisdiction for the time in which his crimes occurred. And perhaps Marcos disagrees with Duterte's withdrawal of the Philippines from the ICC. A past president's decisions aren't binding on the current president.
