  1. It's illegal to carry a gun while drunk. And generally any restaurant that HAS a bar or otherwise serves alcohol is treated as a "bar" by law in most states. That doesn't mean that everybody who's eating at the restaurant is going to order a beer. Why should somebody who's got a carry permit not be allowed to have their gun while eating at a restaurant simply because OTHER people there are drinking beer?
