  1. Referring to "assault weapons" doesn't get people "more connected", it gives them an emotional and deceptive description of the weapons you want banned. Also, I'm at a loss to see why having police at schools is supposed to be "unreasonable". For that matter, the freak-out over the idea of letting teachers be armed is purely emotional, not rational.
