  9. No they haven't. And rockets were used for this chemical attack. All the witness reports are of rockets being fired in the area, but no explosions. A clear sign that the rockets contained nerve gas and not explosives.

  11. Assad used chemical weapons earlier on a smaller scale, probably to test whether there'd be any response. There wasn't, so he probably thought that meant he can use them with impunity.
