  2. You're an idiot. Social Security doesn't even impact the deficit at all. And we absolutely can sustain SS and Medicare without any cuts in benefits or increase in retirement age. Simply eliminate the income cap on the payroll tax. SS problems solved in a single stroke. And as for Medicare, we shouldn't be raising the eligibility age. We should be lowering it. Like to the moment of birth. Then implement whatever taxes are necessary to fund it. Works in every other nation, would work in America.
