  2. No, you don't have to trust the jury. And you've got to remember that the jury DIDN'T get to see all the evidence. Despite all the pathetic whining by Zimmerman's lawyer about the judge, she blocked many crucial pieces of evidence (Zimmerman's arrest record and history of violence, the voice analysis proving that it wasn't Zimmerman who screamed for help on the 911 tape) from being introduced.
