  1. "Judeo-Christian" is used to pretend that Judaism and Christianity are more closely tied than they really are. Christianity is indeed an offshoot of Judaism, but there are a great many beliefs and traditions that differ greatly between the two. Christian Dominionists use the term so that they can sound less theocratic and more inclusive than they actually are.
