They were entirely unsuitable for human life. And that Telegraph article you linked to? It was based on a alleged "leaked draft" of an IPCC report...which turned out to bear little resemblance to the actual report.

  3. superduperjew It's not that TheCultivatedMind doesn't know what he's talking about so much as that he's being dishonest. He would have us believe that a scientific consensus just springs up out of nowhere, rather than being the result of virtually all the scientists in a field studying a subject extensively and coming to the same conclusions.
